[ SHOWGSD-L ] Jr Handler in need of mentor, Tampa FL

Hi group,
My daughter has asked me to post to the list her desire to learn to handle
GSDs. While she was visiting her father for the summer, she caught the "show"
bug and can't get rid of it. She's shown a mini doxie in both Juniors and
breed, and now wants to show a GSD (she can handle the specialty ring). The
problem is that she lives in Florida and visits CA for the summer. She would
like to meet other Juniors as well as handlers in Fl and maybe co-own to show
in Juniors. She can not keep a dog where she lives, and her mother promissed to
take her to shows as far as Georgia. She is 15yrs old, a straight A student,
goes to ROTC (some weekends she competes with her troup), and is very
interested to show for fun (although, she is competitive). Is anyone in Tampa
that can help mentor her?
