You know , Evan, I am sure that Tish would be glad to discuss any of this
with you,. But as a fellow dclub member, not a sitting board member, I
don't think it is right to ask questions like this on a public list.
The board is elected to conduct the business of the club. So either trust
them or talk to them privately. I am sure there are good, ligimate
answers. But asking question like that almost insulting. I , as a private
club
member, would NOT like to see them answered on this list.

I am sorry if anyone thought anything was hidden. I didn't mean that to

handling the finances? What is the commitment of the GSDCA and what
promises
are there that the club won't be left holding the bag? GSDCA funds

I know this is more a GSDCA-WDA thing, it is the working dog sport. I
also know the WDA has never become self-supporting, and maybe they now are

the terms? What is the agreement with the WDA, or is this a GSDCA thing?
What did the board agree to do about the show, the profits, the costs, and
the work needed?
I trust our board, and I am pleased to hear that after this was agreed to,
there are committees being formed. Maybe I missed the vote, in the
minutes. I don't read the stuff as closely as I could.
Is Tish, who seems to keep us informed, going to be president in 2013 when
this happens? If not, what is the arrangement to keep information going
to
the membership.
As an attorney I am used to litigation when big plans fall apart. I
appreciate this is a great opportunity for the GSDCA, but what has been
the
experience of the clubs who have done it in the past? In my business I
end up
in litigation over plans that sounded good at the beginning, but often
people
give up or lose interest when the real work is needed. I have no idea
that this will happen, but I often see the end results of high ideas.
There are many questions, and I am sure we will all have answers.
