Catching up on the list.  I read this and totally agree with Terry on this.  
It IS the breeders responsibilty to make sure the puppies go to the right 
homes, and if the puppy is not right (wether mentally or physically) the 
proper thing should be done.  Breeding is not for the faint of heart, as 
most who have done this can and will attest to.  To "dump or unload" a puppy 
or adult unto a pet buyer is wrong.  It is totally the breeders responsibilty, 
they are the ones that brought this puppy or dog into this world.  As tough 
as this sounds, if they are not healthy physically or mentally, it is better 
to have them put down than make them someone elses heart ache.
