Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] Info needed on dog rescue in New Orleans
I am in need of any information I can get on animal rescue in the New
Orleans area. My niece's family was put up at a hotel during the storm and
didn't
know they could bring the dogs. So they left the dogs in the house (they are
on the second floor) with about 20 bowls of water and a filled feeder with
food. What they didn't realize is that the city was going to flood like it
has.
They are desperate trying to get information on getting to their animals.
Does anyone on this list have information on rescues going on in the area for
pets? Any information or help would be greatly appreciated.
