We have DSL both at home and at the office. It costs me a fortune for the
two services. I do charge the people who rent offices in my building $10.00 a
month to use the DSL, so it is paid for, but at home Tedi refuses to pay me
to use it, so I cover the costs.
I keep AOL as well, as I like the way it works. Yesterday I was in
Sacramento in a motel and they had a T-Line and I went on and tried to use it
to get
my mail. I finally gave up, and used my AOL account.
When you have DSL, AOL charges you only $9.00 a month for the service when
you have another carrier for the DSL. That allows seven people to be on my
account and on line at the same time. Tedi uses six of those addresses, and I
get one.
I like having AOL, and although I don't need it to be on line, it works for
me.
