[ SHOWGSD-L ] INSERT foot in mouth AND congrats

The Mass. Specialty was held yesterday and as far as I know, nobody drowned.
Linda and I arrived there about 45 minutes before judging, after driving around
viewing the beautiful, fall (wet) foliage. I wore Billy's post-office slicker
with UNITED STATES POST OFFICE right on the front it. A woman approached us
and said that this was the RIGHT jacket to wear, as it should really be able to
weather the rain. I quipped, "Well, that's not really why I wore it--I wore it
because if I don't like the judging I'll be able to GO POSTAL and nobody will
care." While I was saying this, Linda seemed to be having some sort of
seizure--what could be wrong with her?! Well, I said this to none other than
Linda Robey, the judge! Yikes! I apologized, she laughed and I vowed to keep
quiet the rest of the day--right!
(Oh, Georgie liked my jacket too.)
Congrats are in order for Baby Scarlett's half-brother, Xuran Xuran who got a 5
point major and the Breed over some very nice specials.
Gump and Jeddie had fun in the rain--at least someone did!
