Paulette, as you know these high drive girls can be great fun, but also an incredible amount of work. I have two of them and they need to be tired out mentally as well as physically. Even a long time of playing ball doesn't cut it. Do you do agility with her? That's a lot of fun, plus the advanced sequences tire out the brain. Scent work, at least for my girls, seems to be the thing that is most tiring. You might consider scent discrimination (ala Utility obedience) using canning jar rings and baby shoes, or scraps of leather, and wood building blocks. Personally I've gotten hooked on tracking and that not only tires them out, but is fascinating to watch them do.
