This is being posted to the LIST as an FYI ...  it is not meant to offend 
anyone but just to let IL Dog People know the latest updates;  It was posted by

We are repeating to every Senator and Representative that the money we are

spend on fighting this atrocious legislation is coming out of the fund we use 
for rescue, 
community service projects, health research, scholarships etc. 
Let's hammer that point home."

bill and have made them aware that all currently cropped and docked 
dogs will no longer be able to be shown again in AKC events in 
Illinois if this bill is passed. THIS information really has made the 
legislators hold this bill back so far, as that was never their 
intent."

the cost of the lobbyist will mean that we will not be able to send a sizable 
donation to fund canine research this year.  We in the Rottweiler community

aided researchers working on cancer in humans.  The ripple effect is greater 
than they know!"

PROTECTION CAUCUS to help write legislation in the 111th Congress. In 
the press release HSUS is quoted, so we are clear who will be having 
input in that caucus. The first three issues they plan to address are 
horse slaughtering, internet puppy sales, and correct labeling of all 
fur products. So now you all have far more to fear than the STATE of 
Illinois legislature. Now we have the Animal Rights Groups with a 
strong voice in the White House."
