[ SHOWGSD-L ] I see no Conflict of interest

I think the idea was that it might look like a conflict. I see it another
way.
If Lew is looking for sponsors for the GSDCA at the 2013 show, what is
better than being able to say he is a past president of the GSDCA and also
judging our national specialty?
It would be my opinion that Lew will not be influenced by anyone donating,
and he would not judge by anything other than the standard. I am looking
forward to his position this year, and it should be great fun,.
I understand the thinking that there might be the appearance of a conflict,
I just don't agree with that. If anything, it should give credibility to
his requests for a sponsor. After all, we the member voted him to be
president, (over that Ginsburg guy), we voted him to judge our national, and
we
voted him on our board.
That should make an impression on anyone who might want to help support our
club.
