A while back, I asked if listers knew that an AB show could give permission for
a Specialty show to have concurrent classes on a mutual show date. IOW, if a
Specialty Club had its show date on the same date as the AB Club show, could
the AB Club give permission to have the GSDs both at their show and at the
Specialty Show. It seemed to me that I got some answers, but age crept in or
something, and I cant remember the answers.
I know that AKC wrote something about that recently, but I cant find it.
The usual way is for the Specialty Chair to ask the AB Chair to not have that
breed as a class that day
or the AB Chair could refuse that, which would mean
that the Specialty Club couldnt have a show that day.
If thats confusing to YOU, think about how confusing it is to me as a NON-show
Chair or even very involved in the rules of setting up a dog show!!!!
