I am sure everyone knew that, certainly Paula and I did. You should know
Paula, and her sense of humor. When we drove to and from Reno together, we
never stopped laughing. And, we seldom talk dogs.
I enjoy people with whom I can talk about things other than dogs. That
works for me, but not for everyone else.
Harley is a special dog, as is or was Kirk, Ben, JP, Icon, Destiny, Paper
Chase, Dakota, Tequila Sunrise, Dragonslayer, Lethal Weapon, Chimes, and a
bunch others. Paula is a special person, and I could name another 50 or
so people who mean a great deal to me.
It is for me, always about the people. The dogs are only how I keep score.
This is in dog shows, not always in life. I have made so many great
friends, and would never have met them without the dogs. That is my value in
the dog world. I know that is just my opinion, and some think that the
quality of dogs is the value of their life. I don't.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
