[ SHOWGSD-L ] I am OK

A couple people wanted me to update the List on my double knee  
replacement surgery.  OK

The surgery itself was a complete success, but then along came the  
complications:  blood clots in both legs and a lung, transfusion, and  
an allergic reaction to the pain medication that made me hallucinate,  
have the "sweats" and made me paranoid--I actually thought the  
hospital personnel was keeping Willy and Kristal away from me.  Then I  
was moved to a rehab hospital--they figured out the medication thing.

I'm now home.  Because of my poor start, I may not have full motion in  
my knees, but I AM walking with a walker and going to more rehab.  I'm  
glad to be alive.

Hight point in the hospital:  Kwis brought Forest into the hospital  
illegally--she told them that Forest was her therapy dog!  Boy was I  
glad to see her and vice versa.  (Forest had been depressed because  
she didn't know where I was.)  Aren't kids (Kwis) GREAT!!
