Peggy....I know that is the procedure,.....but any time the Board has
rejected a membership application, it is behind closed doors, because it
never makes the minutes......It would be nice to know
when application is turned down by the parent club, because many times these
same people apply to the regional club. And the club accepts them as
members, because they have no way on knowing that the GSDCA has turned down
their application for membership.THIS PUTS THE REGIONAL CLUB IN A VERY
DIFFICULT POSITION!

Any current GSDCA member has the right to oppose a new membership
application within 30 days of the applicant's name being published in
the GSD Review. According to Club's rules, if the Membership Chair
receives a complaint, they must notify the applicant and provide him/her
with a copy of the complaint/objection and any materials provided. The
GSDCA Board will consider the application at the next board meeting and
the applicant and his/her counsel have the right to appear at this
hearing and state their case.
