You're all forgetting--Army is an American Champion, (as is Reno), and Army
is the reigning American GV.
The show was in Canada...he could not enter as a special...he isn't a
Canadian Champion.
So, sometime, somewhere, he had to compete in Open...it's a different
country, folks.
