When I was elected to the board, Bob Williamson asked me to check on the  
status of our corporation.  I could not find the corporation in New  York.  I 
then traced it by the date of incorporation and found out that the  club 
voted to remove the word German from the breed corporation.
 
I adjusted the corporation to add German back in. For about 40 years or so, 
 anyone could have incorporated The German Shepherd Dog Club of America.   
The name German was taken out because of the war.  I put it back on.
