Last Friday, my twins were 5 months old. They both always had nice hindquarters, but not overly extreme especially considering that both parents are extreme and the father is dominate for putting hindquarter on most of his pups. My pick puppy always had beautiful angulation to her hocks which I loved. She was more curvy whereas, her sister was more angular. Well now that she turned 5 months, she's got a lot of hindquarter, even more than when I showed her at the match the week-end before. I'm used to seeing puppies be their most extreme at 4 months and then lose some of it as they get older. This puppy is doing the opposite. Instead of losing it, she's gaining it. Have any of your puppies got more rear as they got older? Thank God she has the great front to go with it! Best, Barbara -- Barbara J.
