[ SHOWGSD-L ] Help with Poo Problem

I have a male puppy who just turned four months old on Oct. 30, who has
been having intermittent loose stools/diarrhea since Oct. 17. Prior to that
time, stools were fine.
He is eating Purina Pro Plan Chicken and Rice Puppy and has been since
August 25.
One time his stools are fine, the next they may either be "cow plops" or
watery.
On his first puppy visit to my vet on August 28 his stools were tested and
were negative for any parasites and Giardia.
On Oct. 18, he was tested for Giardia, Parvo and an intestinal parasite
test was done. All were negative. He was given Famotidine and put on Imodium
and Pepto Bismol.
On Nov. 2, another intestinal parasite test was done and he tested positive
for Taenia Tapeworm.
My vet gave him Drontal Plus at that time and it is to be repeated in two
weeks.
His stools were watery on Friday and he was going frequently. I called my
vet on Saturday and he said to give him Imodium and Pepto Bismol, stools
firmed up almost immediately and were great all weekend. This morning he went
twice before breakfast, once "cow plops" and the second time watery.
I gave him another Imodium and Pepto Bismol and he hasn't gone in about
three hours.
His appetite is great, shiny coat and super activity level. He is gaining
weight (32 lbs. on Friday). No vomiting, just funky stools intermittently.
I have been giving him one probiotic once per day but, other than his
kibble and one Purina biscuit per day, that's all he's getting. He is never
outside alone so I know for certain he's not getting into anything.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing these poo problems or any
suggestions?
