Had a problem like this on one of my males, and for awhile I thought nothing
of it. I rubbed vitamin E on it, then aloe. It would look better but never
go away. Had him into the vet for something else and the vet noticed it,
said it was an immuno/bacteria issue and prescribed Cephalexin. He took it for
14 days and it cleared up very quickly. 2 months later it was back. My vet in
Canada suggested a regime of steroids instead. Tried that over 2 years ago
and it cleared and never returned.
