And a Happy Little Christmas to you as well. Growing up in a good Irish
Catholic home, we too celebrated the Feast of the Epiphany, but the day
itself was often referred to as Little Christmas. The date, January 6,
signifies
the end of the 12 days of Christmas. For many years the Christmas tree went
up on Christmas Eve and was taken down on Little Christmas. Same holiday,
but interesting how the different ethnicities observe it and refer to it.
To make this dog-related, each of my dogs received a Bully stick in honor
of the day!
