Back in the day, Punky would have to live with Henry and Jane for months at a time. They cared for her very much and oftentimes she stayed in their house, not their kennel. And The Kid did the same. One Christmas, due to multitudinous snow storms, we weren't able to pick her up. Not only did The Kid stay in their house, she was allowed to sleep on their waterbed! Why? Because Henry said she was a lady. TRUE STORY. I miss Henry AND Punky AND The Kid. Thanks goes to the person who mentioned how much handlers care--it brought back many good memories.
