I have not heard of handlers charging to go into the group, but there
are those who charge for a "pull," meaning that they charge if they make
the cut but don't place............ it all sounds so bloody greedy to
me! Then again, I'm not a handler...........
And now ask me how I know they do this? Because two different
handlers asked me if I could manage to pull them in the group...that
they didn't have to place, but making the cut would entitle them to
charge a "pull" fee. This happened to me at two separate ends of the
country............. I told each of them that they'd be lucky to ever
get pulled again in a group if I had anything to do with it, and that I
found their cojones unbelievable to even bring up the subject!
