I wish hay was $11. a bale in CA. Last winter I paid $17. and considered myself
lucky, this year will top that without a problem, especially since gas has gone
through the roof. I pity those poor dairys, they bring it in by the truck load.
I've had sheep/goats for herding with my dogs, and have cut way back on
numbers. Just can't afford to feed that many anymore. Anja
