Pat,
On the list or not.... Rocky is one of my all-time favorites. In addition
to being a great herding dog he was no slouch as a show dog either. He has
been Best of Breed many times at large specialties and he finished his
Championship VERY quickly. He was what I like to call an "honest" dog with
not many
holes. But what is best about Rocky is his mind; if Einstein had been a dog
he'd have been Rocky. If he ever meets you he never forgets you and he is
thrilled to see you the next time you meet.... If you want to see what
temperament and character in a GSD should be... look no further than Rocky.
And not only was he a quality dog, his sister, Ch Rebecca of Fran-Jo
Decathalon, was the mother of Ch Yarmork's Serena (sired by Ch Yarmork's Elvis)
a
really great bitch owned by Dave Kromray. Rebecca was also the mother of my
#1
all-time favorite dog... Can GV 2x Am Sel Exc BIM Ch Jag of Fran-Jo.
So happy 13th Rocky... you always have a special place in my heart.
