And Dan Smith has done a remarkable job in American/German lines breeding.
A number of our members went to the Sieger Show That's where the buying
and selling goes on<G> It will be interesting to see if one of them will buy
a dog there ?? Also just to remind you that everyone in the early days had
dogs from Germany,and the eastern GSDC's usually brought over German
Judges to judge their shows. But that was before the roach backs were brought

Instead of buying one, unproven and sight unseen, have you considered
breeding
to Helen Gleason's Navigator? Or his grandsire, Nurmi? I don't know

are looking for, but, both of these dogs are exceptional German dogs,
IMHO.
