......years ago on this list I was a bit surprised at all the mis-knowledge
about coat color and long-coat inheritance.....one breeder who is a friend and
shall remain nameless believed you could breed two black dogs and get a black
and tan pup!...this breeder no longer believes this...there has also been lots
of discussion in the past about two black and tan dogs producing a
"Sable",,,,,not possible......two black and tan dogs "CAN" produce every other
color EXCEPT SABLE based on the geno-type of each parent...and if you don't
believe me, just ask Zoe!...lol....FB
