The dog in Westside GSD rescue was on his last day. He was too terrified to 
even walk out of the shelter, so
the volunteer in the photo is CARRYING him out. GORGEOUS dog! 
 Baldwin Park shelter in CA is ALWAYS swamped with GSDs...this one looks to be 
well bred!  The one in
Yucca Valley was transferred there from another shelter, maybe hoping to buy 
some time. And the puppy
was found in a TRASH CAN....Thanks again to Westside GSD rescue! 
THIS is what I see every morning. Pepto bismol has become a close friend. If 
you are a breeder with kennels
to spare, PLEASE consider offering to foster for a rescue! Generally they pay 
for all food and medical care 
for the dogs. I would like to thank the breeders who HAVE stepped up in so many 
ways to assist a dog in 
need! To Sandy and Bob Lindsey for donating videotapes of the National every 
year...Sue Witmer for taking
in an old female whose family had lost their home and allowing her last year 
here to be
one of loving care...and the countless others who in one way or another
have been there for us either by phone calls, networking, or donating your 
precious dollars.

enormous medical costs or maybe have some
new items you could donate to their silent auction, please either contact them 
or LHSH. 
It takes a village to save a breed....
