[ SHOWGSD-L ] GSDCM and the work that clubs do!

Hello all,
Even though I thanked the German Shepherd Dog Club of Manitoba in my bragz
email, I, as an exhibitor am compelled to say a few things about my 'specialty
experiences' that I feel are important. Now, I have been attending that
particular show on and off for a number of years and over the years, one thing
has remained constant. That is the hard work and dedication of the members.
Forgive me if I miss some people here but.....Jill Dicken, Deeann Jur, Donna
Cameron, Melanie & Kevin Cremer, Deb Ross and Barb Nemshon along with many
others work their butts off for all of us and it drives me insane when I see
and hear them being bitched at or badmouthed over the slightest mistake. I have
witnessed it myself and this weekend when I stood by and listened to an
exhibitor giving a member a hard time, it took everything in me to not slap her
upside the head! The way I see it, if you think you can do better, please
do....if not, shut up! Maybe even buy a catelogue or do something so the show
will be around for many years to come....So, I know I may be in trouble for
saying these things but I just wanted to say that I appreciate the work ALL
clubs do and I hope that in the future that people like that will show some
kindness to those that work so hard for the rest of us....
