OK folks...the only error in the post is the date...
The ad is in the August issue.... I know because its in my hot little hand!
Its in the back, in the classifieds..

Now PETA Ad in DOG FANCY?
A friend contacted Dog Fancy as she has advertised in their publication in
the past.
They looked through the 7th July issue and did not find the advertisement.
She sent them the Press Release from PETA. It is a hoax - the ad
never did run in Dog Fancy and they have looked for the advertiser in the
computer with the telephone number - nothing is there.
