I believe the map you continue to show is in regards to our nine Futurity
Regions? Not sure what that has
to do with our "NATIONAL" that supposedly is for ALL members no matter what
Region they are in?
Basically as Dave stated...anything West of a certain point IS West of that
point. SOOooo Kansas being pretty
Central.... then according to your logic St. Louis is EAST. Therefore ... too
many National sites are in the EAST.
( I believe the St. Louis archway was built way after our Forefathers rode
their horses and wagons West. )
I am older than the St. Louis archway..... <G>......does that make me a
"forefather"....? <G>
The thing about Mountains Theresa...they have to be crossed from both sides.
If those in the East suffer
crossing the mountains going to the West...then those in the West also suffer
crossing the mountains going to
the East. Let's try to be honest here.........if the National were held in
Colorado or Utah as many years as it
has and apparently WILL be held in St. Louis.......you and a whole lot of
people in the East would not be any
happier than we are in the West.
NO WONDER there are more members in the East! After reading about the
"rotation?" .... I could get worse.....

Now will post this US map again if members look at the GSDCA Clubs of where
they are located
in what Ken Tank mentioned the GSDCA not going by the US Census the GSDCA does
not state what is considered West. Carolyn what you consider West is divided
differently than
what this US Map put out by the GSDCA, this might be how others look at the
West. The West
as I understood it was all the Mountain States West of the Mississippi. The St
Louis Gateway Arch
where as St Louis was considered the Gateway to the West statement of our
forefathers.
