Don't know if the Motel-6 that's right down the road is open, but we stayed
there last year and it was fine. Rates are pretty good too.

For those of you that had entered the Hawkeye Kennel Club shows in Iowa City
next week and the two specialty GSD shows...the Hawkeye KC is cancelled due to
the floods.
The only good news is that the GSDC of the Quad Cities was allowed to move
the shows to Moline IL, (our old show site)
Therefore the Friday and Saturday specialties will be held at the Airport
Park RT 150 and Indian Bluff Road in Moline 61265. (yes I am sending out the
acknowledgments tonight.) Friday show is at 4pm and Saturday at 10am.
Hotels are Holiday INN in Moline, very close to the show site. 309.762.8811
Rates are $74.+ tax
The other motel is about 15 minutes farther Super 8 and the rates are $55+tax
and dogs cannot be in the room 309.796.1999.
There is a lot going on so call now and get your reservations.
