[ SHOWGSD-L ] GSD Breeder in Dallas

My friend's sister and her family are looking for a GSD puppy. They live in 
Dallas, TX. They have had a Shepherd and an Akita in the past. There are not 
looking for a show dog, but a nice looking, correct puppy with a good 
temperament as a companion for their family. (3 children, youngest is 9) I know 
we have a lot of Listers from Texas. Can anyone help me with this request? 
Suggestions of breeders to talk to or those that have a litter planned? Also, 
she sent me this link of a breeder's website she was looking 
at:http://www.hausmerkel.com/German_Shepherd_Puppies.htm I am not familiar with 
this breeder or these lines. Any feedback you guys can provide would be 
helpful. I want to make sure she works with a knowledgable, reputable breeder.
