[ SHOWGSD-L ] GCH Title

Well today we were surprised with a nice little letter and package from AKC.
Keggi Fair's UBETCHA Kos Mar was awarded a special AKC Medallion to commemorate
"Bett's" place in AKC history. Apparently she was one of the first 10 Grand
Champion title holders in our GSD Breed. We are appreciative of receiving a
nice letter, an invitation only to the 2010 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship
in Long Beach CA in December, and the fact that the Medallion was sent in a
nice little package to avoid breakage. It is the little things that impress us
these days. Almost all of our CH. GSD pins arrive from the GSDCA broken. Not
worth the mailing if they get the pins broke off! Any way some of you may
comment that this title is not worthy of blah blah blah, but to Nanc and I it
is the thought that counts and it pleases our EGOS and we had fun doing it! We
would have done those shows and judges without the incentive of GCH! And I
still maintain that my Champions and my pets look the same to most people who
come to our home and visit and play with out beloved dogs!
