Interesting because the AKC does register whites from other countries who are
already registered as something other than a GSD. So, their need to be able to
import white stock, and have AKC papers on them, is already a reality.
It is the other countries who are no longer accepting the AKC GSD as a White
Shepherd. I believe some migh as long as the dog comes from a certain number
of just white generations. I don't export any of my puppies or dogs, so I am
not an expert on this area.
Even the AKC can understand that just because you take an AKC purebred breed,
and call it something us in anothe country, it is still the SAME breed in the
end, unless it was crossed with another breed, or a mutt. They are not
introducing any new breed, or mutt.

Did you all read the letter you received? Because I just
ead mine tonight, and it seems to be asking only that the

Do you guys understand what FSS actually is?
FSS is a listing service for newly developing breeds. It
ould allow for the importation of European dogs and
loodlines to our shores to be combined with our American
nd Canadian bloodlines. It would also provide a stepping
tone for those breeders of AKC-registered white GSDs
and, presumably, UKC breeders as well) to get in on the
round floor of development toward becoming the
foundation" for the new breed in the USA ***IF*** they
ant to. You would probably not see any white dogs in AKC
onformation for at LEAST several years, if not more. But
ou've got to start somewhere. FSS could be that start.
The way I see it, people are going to want to import and
stablish the BBS onto this continent and I think it's a
hame that there is nowhere for them to go because, when
hey get here, AKC will insist on registering those dogs
s white GSDs. That's not sporting and it's not fair.
I've pressed my luck on this issue, so I'm gonna shut up
nd sign off of this topic for now. I would like to say
hough, that I hope as many of you as possible will sign
our stamped postcards and send them back. At least vote
n Zoe's poll. However you think and whatever you feel on
his issue, let your voices be heard... always!
