a 0 score on the test is passing - there are some uses for our dogs that are
better handled by dogs with 0-1 scores, while other needs require a different
temperament. The TC evaluates the dog's recovery from stress.

I had a zero to one scoring GSD in the temperment test. He was my very
first, he didn't even look when the gun went off and when the weird stranger
came out he wagged his tail. Azzie was very good at reading people beyond
what they were trying to portrait. I had him for 11 great years and only
heard him growl once and deep bellow twice. The one time he growled, I was
walking him accross a park (in the dark) and heard this growl (I was looking
at the ground at the time, don't ask I don't know why). When I looked up
there was a drunk guy leaning on a rock and I had almost walked into him.
This was so unsual for this dog, that when he growled I started looking
around for the other dog (which is when I finally saw the guy)....hahaha.
Two times he bellowed, once at 6 months of age when a stranger jumped on the
side of our vehicle when we tried to go past him and again when I was
playing really really loud music and he didn't hear my dad open the door and
come in until he was coming up the stairs...I have no doubt about these guys
instincts, push come to shove they will be there for you.
