You may have chosen to write it this way but you are wrong here. Ed and the
lady of the original post are right. The proper way is German Shepherd.

That is the way I always write it. The title of a dog is not capitalized
such as collie, or puli. But the country German is. I have never held

peanut butter pretentious, and the use of the word pretentious.
