I talked to Fran on Sunday, and he said Joan does appreciate hearing from
people, although he takes the calls. I know she would appreciate call, cards

flowers.
Joan will be going through Chemotherapy and radiation starting this week. A
phone call might give her a bit of cheer.
I was not going to say anything but a kind word at a time like this can mean
a lot. I remember, and thank those who did call and send cards when I needed
it.
