Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit this came from a Bichon foster home. Is there anyone that can foster this intact male while a found ad is run to keep him out of the shelter; about 80% of the large breed dogs are euthanized there. He was fine with the 2 Bichons but has to stay in the garage which is h ot during the day. This is not a K-9 dog, has very little obedience but is well mannered, I have photos and he looks more American. I can not foster him 4 hours away while giving the owner time to locate him. He is housebroke and easy to walk on leash. HE is really a he even though the gentlemen keeps saying she. She seems healthy and well mannered, but does not respond well to standard commands. (I'm referring to her as a 'she' however, I'm not going to get overly personal with her just yet...) From what little I know about German Sheppards, I would say she is well bred. Full-thick tail large head and snout. She was found wandering the streets of Palm Aire Village in Fort Lauderdale. Palm Aire is near the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport and borders Cypress Creek Road and NW 31st Ave. I found her between 10:30 and 11PM. She followed me home and I leashed her and walked her around the neighborhood to see if anyone was looking for her. My wife is a volunteer with Small Paws Rescue and we currently have two Bichons. (Ours and a foster dog.) My wife is terrified of large breed dogs and we will need to take action on this matter quickly as the GS cannot stay here. FTLauderdale PD is calling a K-9 unit here to see if it's one of theirs. Otherwise, she will be picked up in the morning and brought to the shelter on Powerline Road in Pompano Beach. Thanks.
