Hi All; I was reading the posts about Flora and it brought back some memories. I had a GSD for almost 15 years, a Troll V granddaughter, she was a gift to me at 14 and I adored her. When she passed at 14 and ahalf, my cousin got me a GSD from the Bid A Wee. Sheba was an AKC ILP and my first obedience dog, who, when going to shows with her I would go over the breed ring. I started to get very interested in knowing more about the breed that I loved and started to buy and read any GSD book I could. While going through one of my books, I came across Flora's photo and looked at Sheba and told her she was born a bit too late. She looked so very much like Flora, it was funny. I have no idea what about Sheba's pedigree, all I know is her temperament was outstanding, she was loyal, smart and lived to 16 and ahalf with hips that did not pass X-rays. She jumped in obedience at 36 inches until she was 7 and had no problem getting on the couch until right after her 16th birthday. She was never sick a day in her life, I always joked that she was a throw back to very old lines.
