Do NOT use chemicals on a pregnat bitch.
Bath her in Dawn. Dry her thoroughly and apply food grade DE on her (do this
outdoors and try not to make a powder cloud) , her bedding and around the
baseboards of her room. You can also apply outdoors but if it rains, you must
reapply.

Well this is the 1st time in a very long time that I have had fleas and the
worst one is my pregnant cavalier. The other dogs are on a preventative and I
do have her some what isolated. It started when Frontline Plus and then
Advantix both did not respond to the treatment on her. Didn't think about it
much until I realized I wouldn't be using any chemicals on her in her
condition.
One vet I questioned said I can use Frontline after she gives birth. Another
vet said to use Frontline on her now. What should I do. Right now I am using
a flea comb and frequent baths. Gloria
