Elaine and I took the dogs from Friday and Saturday Mesilla Valley Kennel
Club shows to the Chaparral Kennel Club shows in Alamogordo Sunday and
Monday. I posted the results from Mesilla Valley Saturday. Here is how we
did at the Chaparral shows.
We showed to Ms. Sandy Wheat on Sunday.
Our Amateur Owner entry Medusa (Sunfarm's Medusa v Enchanted) went reserve
winner's dog for a major reserve. Medusa is sired by our Grand Champion
Enchanted's Independence Day and is out of Sunfarm's Aunt Jemima Sho-Guns.
Medusa is such a fun girl to show!
We showed to Mr. Garry Newton on Monday.
Our American Bred dog Diablo (Sunfarm's Diablo v Enchanted) went winner's
and best of winner's for his second major. Diablo is sired by our Grand
Champion Enchanted's Independence Day and is out of Sunfarm's Aunt Jemima
Sho-Guns. Diablo was expertly shown by Memo Cavazos.
Our Open bitch Penny (Enchanted's Lucky Penny v Sunfarms) went winner's
bitch for her first major! Penny is sired by our Grand Champion Jim-sina's
Raven and out of our Grand Champion Sunfarm's Dragon Warrior V Enchanted. I
showed Penny to her win making this extra special to me.
I have to thank Memo for stepping in and showing Diablo for us. I also have
to thank the people that helped me with getting the dogs in and out of the
crates and with taking my amateur owner back in for winner's. I couldn't
have pulled off showing the dogs without them.
So to sum it all up, Enchanted had a great weekend.
Our Am Bred dog Diablo won his first and second majors. This was his third
show weekend. He also won a major reserve over the weekend.
Our 6-9 puppy Gemma won her class two days on her first weekend out.
Our Amateur Owner bitch won a major reserve.
Our Am Bred bitch won her second major and finished her championship. She
went from a qualifier to the third champion for her mom's ROM (second in her
litter) bumping up mom's points. Oh, that's pending ROM until the official,
once a year, announcement is made J Paris also won and major reserve this
weekend. Oh, and I think I am supposed to say pending AKC notification too
J
Our Open bitch Penny won a major reserve and her first major over the
weekend.
Very happy in Alamogordo!
