I have to agree with that. I never show, nor would I, a dog with bad
temperament. I also know none of my friends do, although some need some
reinforcement. I am talking about my friends, not their dogs.
Now, some are not "hero dogs", but none would shake or show fear in the
ring.
I am in this sport for the people. I have made that clear constantly. I
like the dogs, and enjoy the competition. But it is the quality of those
around the ring that keep me coming back. In the overall look at this sport,
those involved are to the top quality people in society.
There are a few bad apples, like Ed, Paul and myself. But, mostly dog
people excel in being the best of all.
