Funny...I was just thinking of starting a similar thread on names or litter
themes that are too quirky or dumb or lack in good taste...to use....

My favorite name..... I can't say because it hasn't been used in a long time
and I don't want anyone to steal it from me as I look for the perfect puppy for
it....lol.

Name I'd like to use but probably wouldn't........Nincomepoop......I'm not
sure calling him poop for short is a good option.....

Litter Theme - How about the Street Sign Litter......The best name I can come
up with is Slippery when Wet.....though I always wanted to name a dog Stop. It
would be great name to double with.....Stop......Stop......Stop come......

I also wanted to do a World War II litter...but I'm pretty sure I'd offend
about everyone if I listed some of the names here.......

Since we've been talking about how we got our kennel names, I thought it
would be fun to discuss favorite dogs' names. I've got a couple, one I bred,
one I did not.
BIS Select Ch. Plainbrownwrapper v Jada-Edan's call name should have been
"BAGGY", not "PUNKY", according to one of her breeders, Jane Cooper. The pick
bitch in the litter's name was Plainbrownwrapper. The 2nd pick was (something
like) PeachnPunkinpie. As the two pups grew, it was obvious that "Punky" the
2nd pick was BETTER than "Baggy" the 1st pick. But they already knew their
names. SOOOOO, that's why Punky ended up being Plainbrownwrapper (and the rest
is history.)
Another one is my black CH Landsend's Tetley Tea Kid: SIMPLE--I LOVE tea and
every pup in the litter was named after a brand or type of tea. We called her
THE KID.
For the future, I would like to name a sable bitch pup that I keep from Forest
"Aphoebe of Landsend" in honor of that wonderful moving machine of the
80s--"Aphoebe of Fran-Jo."
End of story. How about you?
