When the Sacramento Club had their temperament test last spring, we got to
enjoy Bob Penny telling a lot of old GSD stories. One of them was about
Bullet, Roy Roger's GSD. It seems that Bullet was from a litter where the rest
of the litter finished their Championships.
I also remember the national at Burbank when Ted Shackelford (Knot's Landing)
was the helper in the Schutzhund demo and Donna Mills (also from Knot's
Landing) was there watching. They both have or had shepherds.

In fact my first National at Valley Forge Pa in 1959 a famous handler named
Jack Mc Mahon showed a shepherd owned by a John Kennedy from Mass. I've
always wondered. It was a dog and I do believe a sable. Old time trivia !
