In case you were wondering why I nag all of you each month about registering
your breedings for the Parent Club Purina Program, here are the reasons.
Please consider passing along your breeding information, and then telling us
the names of the pups before they are 90 days old. Here are the reasons why:
The Purina Futurity Alliance Program. Purina will donate the following to
the Parent club:
· $10 for each Futurity-nominated before litter whelped date.
· $2 for each Futurity-nominated puppy before 4 month of age
· $25 for each Futurity-nominated puppy that earns its AKC
Conformation Championship title.
· The breed club members are not required to feed Purina products or
belong to Purina Pro Club to receive these donations. However, when the YOUR
PARENT CLUB Futurity participants are members of the Purina Pro-Club and
redeem weight circles, Purina will pay the YOUR PARENT CLUB 10% of the value
of
redemptions credited to the Futurity participantâ??s Pro Club account. .
· There is an additional 10% earned by the YOUR PARENT CLUB from
Futurity participants through Pro-Club redemption activity from the Purina
Parent
Club Partnership.
· The amount paid through the two redemptions programs are calculated
from the Futurity participantâ??s earnings from Pro-Club weight circle
redemption activity.
·
In addition Purina supports the Parent club National Specialty with:
· A sponsorship package
· Recognition awards at the Futurity With the Pro-Plan Futurity
Trophy
· Purina will also award a breed specific Pro Plan Futurity Trophy to
the winner of the annual Futurity competition, and will provide recognition
awards for all Futurity-nominated puppies achieving their AKC Conformation
Championship title.
