Brought tears to my eyes, seeing all the rescue dogs and people who devoted
their time and resources to 9/11. I especially liked Sempe fi monument
awesome!!! Thanks for sharing

For those of you unable to attend, the dogs who were present at the tribute
ncluded not only search and rescue dogs, but many therapy dogs. Most of the
ogs who worked the 9/11 tragedy have died, of course, but the handlers
ttended with their current partners and many carried pictures of the dogs
ho worked with them during those horrible days.
t was a moving tribute, and the best part was being able to mingle with the
ogs, take their pictures, and talk with the handlers. I wish everyone I
now had been able to experience meeting these true American heroes. Our
incere thanks to AKC CAR for providing a bus to take delegates to the park
or the tribute.
