AB1634 MEETING IN DEL MAR
Attend the City Council on July 9th
The City of Del Mar is holding a hearing on AB1634 on Monday, July 9th, at
6:00 pm. Please remember that when we defeat this at the state level, we will
also need to educate each community about the negative impact of mandatory
spay neuter as a matter of public policy, as a matter of fiscal policy and for
the health of dogs overall.
The AB1634 supporters are hoping to use an endorsement by Del Mar to
persuade Senator Kehoe to vote for the bill so the outcome of this hearing
could
determine the vote in Sacramento.
Be sure to attend the Del Mar meeting. In order to speak you need to
arrive early and fill out a Speakers Card for Agenda Item 6. The Agenda can

Remember, the supporters of AB1634 are hoping to use this to influence the
vote of Senator Kehoe on Wednesday so it is important that the City of Del Mar
hear from people who live in the area and attend dog events in the area.
