[ SHOWGSD-L ] Eukanuba...not what you think it was.......

I just heard an interesting story about the Eukanuba show.........
apparently, the Hound Group BBE winner we all saw on TV in Best was
not the actual winner. The actual winner was the American Foxhound, but it was
stripped of the
win because the handler, although one of it's breeders, was not co-owned by her.
Apparently, she threw a total fit over it and a lot of hound people are
mad because she was told this wasn't going to fly and went in anyway denying
others
of the BBE BOB win and a subsequent group placement for someone else.
The dog we saw was moved up from second place.
This is the 2nd time in a week I've heard this...the first source was
from one of the other
Hound exhibitors............
