[ SHOWGSD-L ] Ethanol is NOT a choice in NY

The guy at my garage told me that ethanol makes for poorer gas mileage
because it burns hotter than regular (I THINK this is why), even
though it's cheaper, so it actually evens itself out if you buy
ethanol or regular - less mileage with ethanol vs. more money at the
pump but better mileage from the regular stuff.

Actually, ethanol is in ALL gas in NY--there is NOT a choice. When I
pump gas, I see that a notice is on all pumps that states the gas is
10% ethanol.
