Our lab is an enthusiastic stud (or would like to be.) A few months
ago, when Jeddie was in season, I made the mistake of putting her next
to Burns the Wonder Dog in the kennel--I should've left her inside.
WELL. I noticed that Jeddie seemed to be losing her hair in patches--
a trip to the vet's told me that nothing was wrong: Jack did skin
scrapings, etc. NADA. It was weird--hair was misssing near neck,
near her croup. . . Then voila, it came to me--Burns was chewing and
ingesting her hair, he was SO in love!
