Edie was right in front of our group during the day (day of fracture) and
stated her hip was very painful. I would bet she already had a hairline
fracture in that hip before she fell. The fall created a total hip
fracture. As her husband said she needed a new hip and this incident took
care of when. Most people feel we fall and break a hip--not usually
correct. Usually we break a hip and fall.
However it happened, I am happy to hear Edie is doing well.
